Situated at 1,900 meters above sea level, this high-mountain region is marked by pronounced day–night temperature differences. Especially from spring into summer, the slopes remain shrouded in mist. What makes Cuiluan truly unique is the surrounding primeval forest, whose phytoncides continuously nourish the soil, creating an ideal cradle for top-quality tea trees.
