Fushoushan Black Tea Region

A ruby born at 2,500 meters
These tea trees grow year-round in untouched mountain forests at around 2,500 meters above sea level. The soil is rich in organic matter, and the gardens are often wrapped in mist and drifting clouds. With only two harvests a year, production is naturally limited and highly prized.

The liquor shines a vivid, gem-like amber hue, carrying a lingering, mellow sweetness. Often praised as one of the finest high mountain black teas in Taiwan, it is lovingly nicknamed the “Ruby of Fushoushan.”

Brewing Guide

High heat for a full-bodied experience
For the most expressive and layered cup, brew with freshly boiled water at 100°C. Keeping the liquor hot helps unlock the tea’s concentrated sweetness and aroma.

  • Water temperature: 100°C, rolling boil
  • Water volume: 150 ml
  • Leaf amount: 5 g loose tea
  • Steeping time: about 30 seconds per infusion
  • Re-infusions: at least 6 infusions, with flavour still going strong

*Please adjust steeping time and infusion count according to your preference. This method is recommended for a rich, full-bodied tasting experience.
