Wenshan Pouchong is Northern Taiwan’s most iconic strip-style oolong tea. Its craftsmanship is centered on the idea of “winning by fragrance.” Rather than being tightly rolled into balls, the leaves are kept in their natural twisted form, allowing the aroma to unfold gracefully and reveal clear, layered notes. The liquor is honey-gold with a soft green hue, smooth and refreshing on the palate, with delicate floral notes reminiscent of orchid and osmanthus, elegant and never overpowering.

Natural Floral Aroma · No Scenting Added
With its light oxidation, Pouchong sits between green tea and oolong tea—retaining the fresh brightness of green tea while adding the rounded smoothness of oolong. During production, the tea is not scented with flowers and contains no added fragrance; its floral aroma comes entirely from the tea’s own natural transformation. It is ideal for those who enjoy lighter tea styles, are just beginning to explore Taiwanese tea, or want an easy and elegant tea for daily enjoyment.

☕ Brewing Suggestions

Tea Amount | About 5–6g for 150ml; 7–8g for 250ml

Water Temperature | 90–95°C

Steeping Time | 30 seconds for the first infusion, then add 5–10 seconds for each subsequent brew

Re-steeps | 5–6 infusions

* Strip-style tea leaves unfurl quickly and are easy to brew, making them very beginner-friendly.
