Growing year-round within a primeval forest, in soil exceptionally rich in organic matter and wrapped in cloud and mist for much of the year. Harvested only twice a year, each harvest window lasting no more than a few days, the yield is extremely scarce — the full year's supply is only a quarter of an ordinary high-mountain tea. Lightly Oxidized High-Mountain Tieguanyin

Unlike traditional Tieguanyin, this high-mountain Tieguanyin from the King-of-Tea region is made by light oxidation. Its yield is just a quarter of ordinary high-mountain tea, yet the making takes twice as long. Thanks to the ultra-high altitude, its pectin and astringency are four times those of ordinary tea.

The moment it enters the mouth, sweetness fills the palate and brings a powerful rush of salivation; the liquor's flavor lingers in the mouth for hours without fading — truly the finest of high-cool teas.
